HTIR (Human Technology Interaction and Robotics) is the applied departement R&D which researches and develops solutions for Human-Machine Interaction (HMI) and Collaborative Robotics. The scope of its work involves the two faces of HMI: The Human through the study of the perceptual, motor and cognitive mechanisms that underlie interaction; and the Machine, through the development of new interfaces and robots/intelligent systems able to decide, act, learn, predict and adapt, aiming for fluent interaction and efficient collaboration.
