A competition is open for the award of an employment contract for the position of Business Manager, specialist in eco-innovation, under the following conditions:

Scientific area: Engineering or Management

 

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must preferably have a Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferred) in renewable energy systems engineering, electrical engineering - energy sector, mechanics - energy sector, or similar. They must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in commercial management and/or industrial management, preferably in environments with R&D Management systems. Additionally, they must have the following skills:

  • Minimum professional experience of 3 years in managing the different phases of the sales funnel applied to the technology consultancy services sector;

  • Proficiency in computer tools (Office), digital platforms/services (social networks, document sharing, etc.) and CRM;

  • Excellent communication, argumentation and negotiation skills;

  • Results orientation (achievement orientation, concern for organization, quality and rigor and capacity for initiative);

  • Ability to influence (organizational knowledge, interpersonal understanding, building relationships);

  • Personal effectiveness (flexibility, self-confidence, self-control and commitment to the organization);

  • Communication capacity;

  • Analytical and conceptual thinking;

  • Mastery of the English language.

 

FUNCTION DESCRIPTION

The CCG/ZGDV Institute intends to select a “Business Manager” for its staff, a specialist in eco-innovation. Reporting directly to the CCG/ZGDV Management, your main responsibilities will be:

  • Develop technological and market surveillance, focused mainly on the Industry domain, and the consequent identification and evaluation of opportunities for the development of innovative technological solutions;

  • Acquire clients and identify leads for R&D projects and services;

  • Design and develop proposals for Research and Technological Development (R&DT) projects, in the form of contracted or independent R&DT, in collaboration with the R&D departments of the CCG/ZGDV Institute;

  • Negotiate and close R&D contracts, as well as control and monitor the execution of contracts;

  • Ensure continuous monitoring and measurement of customer or partner satisfaction during the implementation of the R&DT project.

 

WORKPLACE 

The work will be carried out at the CCG/ZGDV Institute, based in Guimarães, under a hybrid/flexible working regime.

CONTRACT DURATION 

The contract will last 12 months, starting in March 2024, with the possibility of being extended.

MONTHLY PAYMENT AMOUNT

The salary amount will be defined depending on the candidate's academic background and experience presented.
