Project Manager Officer
With 30 years of existence, the CCG/ZGDV Institute dedicates its activity to applied research and development in the fields of information, communication and electronic technologies, as well as their applications, in a national and international context.

The CCG/ZGDV Institute intends to select a Project Manager for its staff.
SCIENTIFIC AREA: Engineering or Industrial Management
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates should have a background in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), preferably with a bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering or Industrial Management. Preference will be given to candidates with a specialisation/certification in project management and experience in managing R&D projects in a collaborative format. In addition, they must have the following personal skills:
- Results orientation (achievement orientation, concern for organisation, quality, rigour and capacity for initiative);
- Orientation towards stakeholder satisfaction;
- Ability to influence (organisational knowledge, interpersonal understanding, relationship building);
- Management skills (cooperation and teamwork, leadership skills and assertiveness);

FUNCTION DESCRIPTION:
The PMO Officer will be responsible for:
- Monitor and regularly disclose the status of R&D projects in relation to compliance with technical, scientific, organizational, administrative and procedural deliverables;
- Periodically prepare technical reports to be sent to the funding body;

Support in the assessment of the organizational impact of projects;

Support in complying with the scope, time and cost of projects;

Identify and support the resolution of issues and risks that compromise the execution of projects;

Support in the organisation of technical and financial audits and requests for clarification from auditors;

Support the holding of events to disseminate and share project results;

Carry out all documentation to support project management;

Promote team spirit.
WORKPLACE:
The work will be done at the CCG/ZGDV Institute on Avenida da Universidade – Campus de Azurém, Building 14, 4800-058 Guimarães.
CONTRACT DURATION:
The contract will last 12 months, with the start scheduled for July 2025.
MONTHLY SALARY AMOUNT:
The salary amount will be defined according to the candidate's academic background and demonstrated relevant experience.
