Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Minho, her main areas of interest are tyred/pavement interaction, annoyance, vehicle detection, pedestrian behavior, accident modeling, and risk. In co-operation with the CCG/ZGDV, he coordinates the development of pedestrian simulators as part of the projects developed in this area.
