Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Systems at the University of Minho, she works in teaching and research in Communications Networks and Protocols and is a member of the Urban Computing Lab at the ALGORITMI Centre. She has master's and doctorate degrees in computer science from the University of Minho and teaches operating systems, networks, and communications subjects. She has participated in several research projects, and her research interests include traffic routing, network simulation, vehicular and named data networks, and positioning in wireless networks.
