CCG/ZGDV belongs to the fourteen National Centers for Research Data Management recognized by the FCT

The CCG/ZGDV Institute was recognized as one of fourteen national centers for research data management, within the scope of the national Open Science and Open Research Data initiative, promoted by FCT.

This distinction reflects CCG/ZGDV's commitment to innovation in the management, curation and availability of scientific data, promoting the accessibility and reuse of scientific information in alignment with the European Open Science guidelines and FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) and with the National Program for Open Science and Open Research Data (PNCADAI).
 
As the leading entity of CeSDHR (Center for Structured Data in Health Research), in partnership with 2CA-Braga and ACMP5, the CCG/ZGDV assumes a central role in identifying and promoting institutional policies and good practices in data management and research in the health area. CeSDHR aims to guarantee the quality, security, and reuse of health research data and promote research and technological innovation in the health sector.
 
The recognition of CCG/ZGDV reinforces its position as one of the main national agents in promoting digital transformation and technological innovation, consolidating its mission to boost open science and collaboration between scientific and industrial institutions.
