Holding a Master's degree in Systems Engineering and currently pursuing a PhD in Information Technologies and Systems at the School of Engineering of the University of Minho, he conducts his research and development in the area of ​​Software Engineering, focusing on software development processes and maturity models for the industry, where the topic of his doctoral thesis is "Security and Safety Focused Process Improvement for Software Development with a Product/Process Mixed Approach".
