The CCG/ZGDV was privileged to receive a visit from the ZF Group, one of the world’s largest producers of automotive components.

This visit represented a unique opportunity for ZF representatives to get a closer look at the work that the CCG/ZGDV has been developing and to explore some of the technologies that can improve the German institution's performance and efficiency.

During the visit, the ZF Group representatives had the opportunity to experience the CAVE (Cave Automatic Virtual Environment). This state-of-the-art virtual reality environment allows highly realistic and interactive simulations. This technology provides an immersive experience that facilitates developing and testing innovative solutions for the mobility sector.

In addition to the CAVE, some of our virtual driving simulators were also presented. These simulators allow the evaluation of the behaviour of vehicles and pedestrians in different conditions and scenarios. These simulators provide essential information and data for improving urban and automotive mobility systems, helping society and the digital economy face a sector's constant transformation challenges.

This visit reinforces the CCG's commitment to driving technological innovation and establishing strategic partnerships that promote the creation of disruptive solutions for the future of mobility.
