FRAMEWORK

GreenShoes 4.0 is part of the ambitious vision of the Footwear and Fashion Cluster, which aims to establish our country as a major global reference for consumers and industries in these sectors, through differentiation, creativity, content and value, boosting Portuguese exports based on a strong, sustainable and globally competitive national production, based on knowledge.

PROPOSED SOLUTIONS

GreenShoes 4.0 proposes the development of radical innovations, at the level of strategic value chain business models, product concepts, materials and technologies per se with a lower carbon and digital footprint, which should constitute instruments to increase differentiation in the near future , productivity and diversification of the cluster, supporting sustained growth in exports to the international market.

 

 

GreenShoes 4.0 is organized into 5 PPS:

  • PPS 1 – CONSUMER & SUSTAINABLITY – Consumer, footwear, leather goods & sustainability
  • PPS 2 – MATE – New materials for footwear and leather goods in the eco-efficient economy
  • PPS 3 – TECH – Digitization and advanced manufacturing and marketing technologies
  • PPS 4 – INOVA – Dissemination, demonstration, experimentation and transfer of results
  • PPS5 – COORDENA – Global project coordination

CCG/ZGDV CONTRIBUTION

CCG/ZGDV contributes to GreenShoes, through the CVIG and EPMQ departments, in an integrated platform development for stock management and shoe catalog comprising the following modules:

 

 

 
  • Development of a visual search and artificial intelligence module for shoe classification and suggestions
  • Development of an automatic photo segmentation module
  • Model and database development for the Stock Management System

Tools that help with stock management and forecast sales per item, according to the history and cataloging of shoes, by simplifying the addition of items and suggestions to the customer based on a photograph
