As scientific coordinator of the R&I department - at UMC - he researches mobile and ubiquitous computing, particularly technologies for intelligent spaces, with research activities geared towards the concept of ‘urban computing.’ He works in the fields of human movement analysis and modelling, mobile network analysis and simulation, urban sensing, and indoor positioning.
