Coordinator of the HTIR (Human-Technology Interaction and Robotics) department, he holds a PhD in Electronic and Computer Engineering from the University of Minho. He currently participates in several national and international research projects in human-machine interaction involving cognitive robotics, simulation in immersive environments, and human-centered design. He has co-authored several international peer-reviewed publications in journals, conferences, and book chapters.
