PhD in Civil Engineering and a BSc in Computer Engineering from the University of Minho. He has professional experience in academia and industry as a Civil and Computer Engineer. He develops research in the context of information technology applied to construction, namely free and open-source software for problem-solving in the context of BIM, Digital Twins, and Mixed Reality.
