As a senior researcher and head of Data Engineering, he leads initiatives in conceptual modelling, semantics, data integration, architectures, and visualisation, where he applies his experience in parallel computing, pipeline orchestration, and distributed query engines. He actively participates in BDVA and IDSA working groups on Dataspaces, which led him to lead the technology support group at Gaia-X Hub Portugal.
