Luís Magalhães

Holding a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering and Informatics, a Master's degree in Informatics, and a PhD in Computer Science, he is an Associate Professor with Habilitation at the University of Minho and an integrated member of the ALGORITMI Research Centre. Since 2016, he has served as Scientific Coordinator of the Computer Vision, Interaction and Graphics R&D Department at CCG/ZGDV, and since 2020, he has also been a member of the institution's Board of Directors. He is the author and co-author of more than 130 scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings. Throughout his career, he has been a researcher and coordinator of several R&D projects focused on automatic optical inspection, the development of immersive virtual environments, and the creation of augmented and mixed reality systems.
