In partnership with AED Cluster Portugal and idD Portugal Defense, the CCG/ZGDV Institute was one of the 9 entities present at the Portugal Stand, from the 22nd to the 26th of July, at the Farnborough International Airshow (FIA) 2024, in London. For the Portuguese delegation, the main objectives were achieved: opening new doors to international opportunities and strengthening the position of national companies in the global market.

According to the "commander" of CCG/ZGDV, Luís Almeida (Internationalization Manager), this was an excellent initiative to “promote skills and transfer of knowledge for the application of technology in the digitalization of processes and development of new products for entities in the sector”, reinforces. CCG/ZGDV introduced a new approach to aircraft modification: the application of Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality/Mixed Reality technology to increase efficiency and reduce human error.

With the participation this year of more than 1,260 exhibitors from 44 countries, 250 civil and military delegations and 27 pavilions from different countries, the FIA is already considered one of the largest international aeronautics and defence events.
