On 17 September 2025, the CCG/ZGDV Institute will host, as part of the Mobilising Agenda TEXP@CT, the 2nd PPS8 Workshop – “Hands on FIWARE”, an event dedicated to exploring the potential of the FIWARE ecosystem and its role in driving digital transformation in industry.

The workshop will bring together experts and partners from the technology and industrial sectors, providing a space for knowledge sharing and practical demonstrations on how FIWARE technologies can be applied in different contexts, with a particular focus on the creation of digital twins and their impact on the textile industry.

Throughout the programme, participants will gain insights into the FIWARE ecosystem and its diverse applications, with contributions from André Duarte (Ubiwhere), Leopoldo Silva (CCG/ZGDV) and Sérgio Lopes (IPVC), who will address topics ranging from the fundamentals of the technology to the opportunities for integration within the TEXP@CT project.

This workshop highlights the commitment of the CCG/ZGDV Institute, as a Technology and Innovation Centre, to fostering stronger connections between research and industry, accelerating digitalisation, modernising production processes, and enhancing business competitiveness.
