FRAMEWORK

The Cognitive CMMS project aims to develop a solution that acts transversally in the maintenance management of buildings and their equipment, with a view to the future of predictive maintenance and intelligent CMMS 5.0 systems.

 

 

Creation of the foundations that will support the future of industrial maintenance of equipment and facilities, supported by cutting-edge technologies, such as: Machine Learning, Augmented Reality, Analytical Models, Neural Networks, Indoor Navigation and Remote Assistance. Emerging technologies that revolutionize the maintenance of equipment and buildings, with very clear gains in reducing maintenance costs, extending the useful life of assets and even optimizing energy efficiency.

PROPOSED SOLUTION

Creation of a platform that allows for an integrated view (BIM 6D) on the maintenance management of buildings and their contents, equipped with intelligent detection and prediction (Analytical, Stochastic Models, Neural Networks and Machine Learning) of failures or anomalies, so to optimize resources and operations (via modern optimization techniques), in a context of predictive maintenance.​​​​

 

 

This solution comprises:

  • Information acquisition and architecture management: (IAM) information acquisition management of low energy devices (CO2, humidity, temperature)
  • Data Storage: data transmission to the cloud (edge ​​and cloud computing)
  • Data Analytics: intelligent detection and prediction of failures and anomalies; dashboard production
  • UX/UI of module intended for remote assistance for mobile and hololens applications
  • Work Tool Report: asset maintenance using Mixed Reality and Remote Assistance (Holographic Application); indoor navigation for assets with Augmented Reality (mobile application)
  • BIM: asset viewer and explorer (desktop, mobile and web applications)
  • Indoor navigation based on sensors (beacons)
 

CCG/ZGDV CONTRIBUTION

CCG/ZGDV contributes to this project, through the I&I, CVIG, EPMQ, HTIR AND UMC departments, in the research and development of this platform.

 

 

 

  • Design and development of a service-oriented data acquisition (SOA) platform in a public cloud environment, allowing the optimization of resources and maintenance operations, via modern optimization techniques, in a predictive maintenance context
  • Sensor-based indoor positioning
  • Augmented Reality mobile application that receives as input the asset to be found, previously selected in the asset management application
  • Creation of a platform for remote operations commanded by a specialist and executed by a technician using remote communication (holographic application)
  • Construction of the graphical interface for asset explorer; module design for remote assistance; maximizing asset maintenance through immersive technologies
